About the Role
The Director - Strategic Alliances & Ecosystem Partnerships will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of Spektra Systems' ecosystem around its flagship SaaS offering, CSP Control Center (C3). This is a highly visible leadership position that requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will serve as the bridge between external technology partners and internal C3 teams, ensuring successful execution of integration initiatives, technical collaborations, marketplace alignment, and joint go-to-market programs.As a key member of the leadership team, the Director will be responsible for defining and executing C3's ecosystem and alliance strategy, identifying and prioritizing strategic technology partners and integration opportunities, and building long-term partnership roadmaps aligned with C3 product and business goals. This is a remote position that may transition to onsite in the future, offering the opportunity to work with a global team and drive business expansion through strategic partnerships.
The Director will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to maximize ecosystem value and drive business growth. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of the cloud market, technical expertise, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
What You Will Do
- Define and execute C3's ecosystem and alliance strategy, identifying and prioritizing strategic technology partners and integration opportunities
- Build long-term partnership roadmaps aligned with C3 product and business goals, evaluating ecosystem opportunities based on customer demand, revenue potential, retention impact, and strategic value
- Develop business cases and ROI models for new integrations and partnerships, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and expansion
- Build executive and operational relationships with strategic partners, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft, and negotiate partnerships and integrations
- Act as the primary point of coordination between vendors and internal teams, supporting API access and documentation, sandbox provisioning, certification programs, and technical onboarding
- Lead ecosystem-driven go-to-market initiatives, including joint webinars, co-marketing campaigns, marketplace listings, and sales enablement programs
- Monitor vendor roadmaps, API and platform changes, marketplace programs, and channel initiatives, providing strategic recommendations to leadership based on ecosystem insights
- Work closely with Product Delivery, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to maximize ecosystem value and drive business growth
- Serve as the central coordination point for all ecosystem and alliance initiatives, ensuring successful execution and alignment with business goals
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships and ecosystem development, with a deep understanding of the cloud market and technical expertise
- Proven track record of building and managing strategic partnerships, driving ecosystem growth and expansion
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders and technical teams
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop business cases and ROI models for new integrations and partnerships
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Strong technical skills, with experience working with API access and documentation, sandbox provisioning, and technical onboarding
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience working with cloud providers, distributors, software vendors, cybersecurity platforms, and cloud marketplaces
- Knowledge of AI ecosystem developments and emerging technology trends
- Experience working with joint go-to-market initiatives, including joint webinars, co-marketing campaigns, and sales enablement programs
- Certification in cloud computing, such as AWS or Google Cloud
