About the Role
The Director of Strategic Partnerships at PermitFlow is a critical role that will take the company's partner ecosystem to the next level. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the partner strategy, building and expanding the partner portfolio, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships. This role will require a deep understanding of the construction industry, as well as expertise in GTM and Salesforce.The Director of Strategic Partnerships will report to the VP of Sales and will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Product, and executive teams to drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline. The goal is to make PermitFlow the obvious permit layer of the home services and pre-construction ecosystem.
What You Will Do
- Define the partner strategy and build a map of the partner ecosystem
- Identify and recruit foundational partners across various categories, including FSM/ISV, OEM/manufacturer, distributor, construction management, financing, trade association, AHJ/govtech, and adjacent SaaS
- Pitch, negotiate, and close partnership agreements with target ISVs, OEMs, and distributors
- Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and carry a target for partner-sourced ARR
- Build joint GTM motions with partners, including co-branded campaigns, webinars, and conference presence
- Partner with Sales on co-sell motions, account mapping, and joint pursuits
- Own contract structuring and negotiation, including deal terms, referral economics, and co-marketing commitments
- Build the standard partnership agreement template with Legal
- Funnel integration requirements, API gaps, and partner-driven roadmap into the product team
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or a related field
- Proven track record of building and expanding partner ecosystems
- Expertise in GTM and Salesforce
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and its ecosystem
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

- Experience working with construction technology companies
- Knowledge of the home services and pre-construction ecosystem
- Familiarity with CRM software and data analysis tools
- Certification in Salesforce or a related field
