About the Role

The Director of Talent Operations is a critical role at Amplify, responsible for designing and maintaining the company's hiring infrastructure. This includes managing vendor partnerships, overseeing technical automations, and ensuring operational workflows are efficient and scalable. As the leader of a multidisciplinary team, you will drive operational excellence, guarantee data accuracy, and streamline the onboarding process.

The role requires a deep understanding of programmatic hiring, talent management, and operational workflows. You will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the hiring process is optimized and aligned with Amplify's mission.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement talent operations strategies that align with Amplify's business objectives
  • Manage vendor partnerships, including contract negotiations and performance monitoring
  • Oversee the design and implementation of technical automations to improve hiring efficiency
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of talent operations specialists, providing guidance and support
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy, with a focus on metrics-driven decision making
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to optimize talent operations
  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to design and implement effective hiring processes
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, recruiters, and hiring managers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent operations and programmatic hiring

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in talent operations, people operations, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, such as HR, finance, or operations
  • Proven track record of managing vendor portfolios and complex staffing ecosystems
  • Expert-level experience with high-tier ATS platforms and HRIS integrations
  • Strong quantitative skills, with mastery of Microsoft Excel for complex financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Experience with technical automations, such as Ashby, and process standardization

Nice to Have

  • Experience with global, large-scale software implementations
  • Knowledge of education technology or the education sector
