About the Role
The Director/Senior Director of Business Development at Z1 Tech is a senior leadership role that requires strategic vision, operational excellence, and the ability to drive revenue growth. As the leader of the business development team, this individual will be responsible for managing a team of sales professionals and developing strategies to acquire new clients and nurture existing relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US sales, particularly in the insurance industry, and a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving revenue growth.The business development team at Z1 Tech is focused on delivering high-quality leads and business opportunities to service providers across global markets. As the team leader, the Director/Senior Director will be responsible for ensuring that the team is aligned with the company's overall objectives and that performance is monitored and optimized. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to develop and implement strategies that drive growth and revenue.
The role is based in India and will require working night shifts, from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and will have experience working in a remote team setting.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage the business development team to achieve sales targets and expand market presence
- Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships
- Drive performance in insurance lead selling, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to team members to enhance productivity and professional growth
- Monitor KPIs, prepare performance reports, and present insights to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development initiatives with overall organizational objectives
- Represent the company in client meetings, negotiations, and industry events
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, and adjust strategies accordingly
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales pipelines
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 15 years of US sales experience, with a focus on insurance lead selling
- Proven expertise in leading teams and driving revenue growth
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage night shift operations effectively
- Strong understanding of the US insurance market and lead generation strategies
- Experience with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
