Job Description

About the Role

The Division Finance Manager (DFM) role at DaVita Kidney Care is a senior leadership position that requires a unique blend of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and collaborative leadership. As a DFM, you will be responsible for driving financial management and growth strategy for a division of approximately 50 clinics, with revenue of $200M. You will work closely with the Division Vice President and other field operations leaders to identify opportunities for operational improvement and develop solutions to drive business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and financial background, with expertise in Excel and a proven track record of driving business growth through data-driven decision making. You will be a key thought partner to the Group Finance Director and other field operations leaders, and will be responsible for presenting financial analysis and insights to senior leadership.

What You Will Do

  • Provide financial leadership and support to the Division Vice President and other field operations leaders
  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to inform business decisions
  • Present financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with field operations leaders to identify opportunities for operational improvement
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to drive business outcomes
  • Provide financial guidance and support to clinic leaders and other field operations staff
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians and other healthcare leaders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial management

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in healthcare
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel and other financial software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to drive business outcomes through data-driven decision making
  • Proven track record of collaborative leadership and teamwork
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong alignment with DaVita Kidney Care's mission and values

Nice to Have

  • Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as Adaptive Insights or Anaplan
  • Certification in financial management, such as CPA or CMA
