## About the Role The Donor Relations Advisor plays a critical role in Young Americans for Liberty's fundraising efforts, managing a portfolio of donors and building long-term relationships to drive continued investment in the organization's mission. Day-to-day, this involves direct communication with donors through calls, personalized outreach, and in-person meetings. As part of the fundraising team, the Donor Relations Advisor will work closely with colleagues to identify, cultivate, and steward donors who share the organization's vision for a more libertarian America. The success of Young Americans for Liberty's mission depends on strong donor relationships, making this role central to the organization's overall strategy. The Donor Relations Advisor will be expected to travel for donor tours, meeting face-to-face with donors to build trust and secure continued support. ## What You Will Do - Manage a portfolio of donors, developing and implementing tailored strategies to cultivate and steward these relationships over time.
- Communicate directly with donors through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Travel for donor tours, meeting face-to-face with donors to build trust and secure continued support for the organization's mission.
- Help donors understand the impact of their giving, providing regular updates on the organization's work and the difference their support makes.
- Confidently ask donors to continue investing in the organization, ensuring the long-term sustainability of its programs and activities.
- Work closely with the fundraising team to identify new donor prospects and develop strategies to engage them with the organization's mission.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as advocacy and communications, to ensure a unified approach to donor engagement and stewardship.
- Analyze donor data and feedback to improve donor relations strategies and outreach efforts.
- Develop and maintain detailed records of donor interactions, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
