About the Role
As a Dutch Transcriber at Productive Playhouse, you will be part of a global team working on a large-scale transcription project. Your primary responsibility will be to transcribe audio files accurately and efficiently, following client-specific guidelines and conventions. You will work remotely and have the flexibility to manage your own schedule, allowing you to deliver high-quality work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.The project supports the development of talk-to-text technology, and your contributions will be vital in helping to achieve this goal. What You Will Do
- Transcribe audio files accurately and efficiently, following client-specific guidelines and conventions
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Maintain a thorough understanding of each client's guidelines and update your knowledge as changes occur
- Produce high-quality, timely work for all assigned transcription projects
- Reference and apply current training materials and documentation as needed
- Identify and report technical issues or transcription concerns to the Division Services Manager
- Contribute ideas for improving workflows and transcription processes
- Participate in additional tasks or special projects as assigned
- Maintain excellent internet research skills, including creative problem-solving techniques
- Navigate feedback, ambiguity, and evolving client needs with professionalism
What We Are Looking For
- Native-level (C2) proficiency in Dutch (nl_nl), including the ability to read and write
- Excellent grammar, orthography, and punctuation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under tight time constraints
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- High-speed internet access and a reliable computer
- Access to email and ability to respond to messages in a timely manner
