What You Will Do

  • Provide short-term counselling services to clients, focusing on issues such as depression, anxiety, and anger management.
  • Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Offer support and guidance to clients, either face-to-face, over the telephone, or via video conferencing, depending on their preferences and needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Utilize IT-based case management systems to manage client information, schedule sessions, and track progress.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health support.
  • Engage with a diverse client base, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and industries.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings, to accommodate the needs of your clients.

What We Are Looking For

  • Full membership registration as a Psychologist, Psychotherapist, or Social Worker with at least 4 years of experience.
  • Proven ability in short-term counselling, with a strong background in managing mental health issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in face-to-face, telephone, and/or video counselling.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Technical proficiency, with comfort using IT-based case management systems.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to your work.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with diverse client populations, including those from different cultural backgrounds.
