About the Role

The Ecommerce Growth Manager position at Pavago is a critical role that sits at the intersection of paid media, ecommerce strategy, conversion rate optimization, retention marketing, and technical SEO. As an Ecommerce Growth Manager, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the entire digital growth engine for a fast-growing ecommerce brand. Your day-to-day will involve managing paid media campaigns, optimizing the Shopify storefront, and developing retention marketing strategies. You will work directly with the Directors and play a critical role in driving revenue growth through data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the entire ecommerce funnel, from acquisition to retention, and will be able to connect the dots between different marketing channels. You will be highly analytical, enjoy solving performance problems through data, and be able to identify opportunities independently and execute improvements without constant direction.

What You Will Do

  • Own and manage Meta Ads and Google Ads accounts end-to-end, including building campaign structures, audience strategies, budgets, bidding models, and testing frameworks
  • Upload and manage creative assets provided by the internal creative team
  • Develop audience segments, including custom audiences, lookalikes, retargeting pools, and exclusions
  • Implement, audit, and troubleshoot tracking systems, including Pixels, Conversion APIs, and event tracking
  • Conduct ongoing performance analysis and proactively implement improvements to increase ROAS and reduce CPA
  • Manage budget allocation and scaling decisions across channels
  • Own ongoing optimization of the Shopify storefront, including improving landing pages, product pages, collections, checkout flows, and mobile experiences
  • Identify conversion bottlenecks through data analysis and customer behavior insights
  • Implement straightforward theme-level improvements directly within Shopify
  • Work with developers on more advanced Shopify changes when required
  • Present recommendations and growth opportunities to leadership before implementation

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in paid media management, ecommerce strategy, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, GTM, Klaviyo, and Excel
  • Experience with Shopify and ecommerce platform management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with retention marketing and customer segmentation
  • Knowledge of technical SEO principles and practices

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Performance Max and other advanced Google Ads features
  • Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools
  • Experience with email marketing automation and customer lifecycle campaigns
  • Certification in Google Ads or other relevant platforms
