The Ecosystem Sales Manager - Scale at Gitlab is a critical role that involves driving growth through strategic partnerships and programmatic sales. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute sales strategies that leverage the company's emerging partner ecosystem to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, including distributors, longtail resellers, and hyperscalers like AWS and Google Cloud
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute account plans that meet the company's growth objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic partnerships and programmatic sales
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing and product to develop and execute sales strategies
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the sales process, including sales forecasting and pipeline management
- Provide regular sales updates and insights to internal stakeholders, including sales leadership and product teams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive sales growth and innovation
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales enablement programs that drive sales productivity and effectiveness
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's products and services, including their features, benefits, and competitive differentiators
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a role that involves driving growth through partnerships and programmatic sales
- Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and revenue expansion through strategic partnerships and programmatic sales
- Strong understanding of the sales process, including sales forecasting and pipeline management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that meet the company's growth objectives
- Experience working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and programmatic sales tools, such as Adjust
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop insights that drive sales growth and innovation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction
- Experience working in a remote-first company, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with remote teams
