Job Description

About the Role

The Education Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of Tutor Me Education, coordinating and implementing tutoring programs for hundreds of students. This position requires a highly organized, prompt, and communicative individual who can track student progress and provide quality customer service to families. As an Education Coordinator, you will work closely with the Regional Operations team to ensure seamless delivery of academic services.

The role involves managing class schedules, monitoring student progress, and conducting conferences with stakeholders to review progress and adjust academic plans. You will also be responsible for fostering an environment of open communication with students and parents, ensuring positive and effective conflict resolution.

Tutor Me Education operates in a remote-first management environment, and as such, you will be expected to work autonomously and independently, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively.

What You Will Do

  • Implement and coordinate tutoring programs for students
  • Track student progress and provide quality customer service to families
  • Manage class schedules to ensure effective staffing and meet company efficiency targets
  • Monitor student academic progress on both an individual and groupwide scale
  • Conduct conferences with stakeholders to review progress, adjust academic plans, and renew enrollments
  • Foster an environment of open communication with students and parents
  • Handle other tasks as needed to ensure high-quality services are delivered
  • Provide virtual administrative support to Regional Operations, including answering phones and managing daily business data
  • Log detailed notes of communications with schools, tutors, and staff
  • Ensure time management in compliance with company and regulatory requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-3 years of progressive career growth
  • Experience working in virtual operations, especially with large teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications
  • History of maintaining organized records, well-documented and prompt communications, and diligent notes
  • Organized and efficient time management, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple responsibilities with concise records of completed tasks

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in education or a related field
  • Familiarity with special education services and K-12 teaching methodologies
  • Proficiency in Adjust and Excel
