About the Role

The ELD Coordinator position at The Dream Creators is a critical role that ensures the company's compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. As a key member of the team, the ELD Coordinator will be responsible for managing and implementing electronic logging devices (ELDs) to track hours of service, vehicle inspections, and other safety-related data. The ELD Coordinator will work closely with the operations team to ensure that all vehicles are equipped with the necessary technology and that drivers are trained on the use of ELDs. What You Will Do

  • Manage and implement ELDs to track hours of service, vehicle inspections, and other safety-related data
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, including FMCSA and DOT regulations
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance of ELD data
  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement safety and compliance policies and procedures
  • Provide training and support to drivers on the use of ELDs
  • Analyze data and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Develop and maintain reports to track safety and compliance metrics
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry standards
  • Communicate with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders as needed
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any safety or compliance issues

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in the logistics industry, with a focus on safety and compliance
  • Strong understanding of safety and compliance regulations, including FMCSA and DOT regulations
  • Experience with ELDs and other safety-related technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics, transportation, or related field preferred
-Certifications in safety and compliance, such as CSP or CMSP, a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience with logistics management software and other industry-specific technologies
  • Knowledge of Canadian and US regulations, including those related to cross-border transportation
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Certification in a related field, such as logistics or transportation management
