About the Role

Day-to-day responsibilities will include planning, laying out, and installing electrical distribution systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. What You Will Do

• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and components to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of critical systems.
• Perform operations and maintenance duties to maintain power to telecommunications equipment and the facility's electrical distribution system.
• Ensure all electrical work is done in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) 2008 for repairs and upgrades to existing construction, and NEC 2011 standards for new construction.
• Collaborate with the Master Electrician and other team members to plan and execute electrical projects.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
• Participate in training and professional development to stay updated on the latest electrical codes, technologies, and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate electrical safety hazards, reporting any concerns to the appropriate administrator.
• Assist in the development and implementation of safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical equipment and systems to predict and prevent failures.

What We Are Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a Journeyman Electrician license.
• Minimum of five to seven years of work experience in the electrical wiring industry, with experience in planning, laying out, and installing electrical distribution systems in accordance with NEC standards.
• Ability to manage multiple job sites and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Thorough knowledge of Electrical Codes and the ability to apply them in various situations.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use relevant software and tools.
• Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace and follow safety rules and practices.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a host country driver's license.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in extreme weather conditions, particularly in desert environments.
• Knowledge of industrial production environment conditions and how to work safely within them.
• Experience with electrical installation in commercial and industrial categories.
• Familiarity with MIL Standards/Regulations and contract specifications.
• Certification in a related field, such as electrical engineering or a trade-specific certification.
