About the Role
As an ELL Teacher at Stride, Inc., you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality online education to students across the United States. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating engaging lesson plans, teaching English language skills, and providing individualized support to students. You will be part of a dynamic team of educators who are passionate about helping students achieve their full potential.The ELL Teacher role is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to online education. You will work from the comfort of your own home, but occasional travel may be required for school functions, such as state testing. As an ELL Teacher, you will be responsible for managing your own workload, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Deliver high-quality online instruction, including synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences
- Provide individualized support to students, including one-on-one coaching and feedback
- Monitor student progress, identify areas of improvement, and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and staff to achieve school goals
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and learning coaches to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and grades
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices
- Travel occasionally for school functions, such as state testing
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field
- Active state teaching license
- Ability to clear required background check
- Experience working with English language learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with online learning platforms and technology
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Education or a related field
