Job Description

About the Role

The Email & Marketing Data Specialist is a key position at Kapitus, responsible for managing the intersection of CRM strategy and email marketing execution. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce, HubSpot, and Google Analytics, as well as the ability to build complex automations and manage large datasets. As a technical expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the company's marketing data and developing strategies to drive engagement and conversion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing data management, email automation, and CRM integration. You will be working closely with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted campaigns, and will be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting issues related to data sync and integration.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the bidirectional data sync between Salesforce and HubSpot, ensuring accurate reflection of leads, stages, and contact activity across both systems
  • Build and implement complex automated workflows and drip campaigns within HubSpot, leveraging Salesforce opportunity stages and custom object fields
  • Design and maintain multi-step automation workflows driven by Salesforce object updates, triggering HubSpot actions such as email sends and enrollment
  • Develop and enforce data validation rules, field-mapping schemas, and sync logic to prevent duplication and maintain database integrity
  • Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot API sync errors, integration logs, and workflow audit histories
  • Create precision-targeted segments using a combination of Salesforce report criteria and HubSpot behavioral data
  • Manage data lifecycle, including enrichment, deduplication, archival, and sunset automation processes
  • Design conditional branching and content pathways that deliver the right message at the right time based on CRM and behavioral signals
  • Implement workflow version control to ensure updates to triggers, enrollment criteria, and dependencies do not disrupt active marketing and sales processes

What We Are Looking For

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in marketing data management, email automation, and CRM integration
  • Proficiency in HubSpot and Salesforce, with a deep working knowledge of both platforms
  • Experience with Google Analytics and strong understanding of CRM data architecture
  • Proven experience building complex automation workflows and drip campaigns
  • Deep knowledge of API integrations, data mapping, and troubleshooting sync issues between systems
  • Experience with behavioral segmentation and lifecycle-stage management
  • Strong data hygiene instinct and attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
  • Knowledge of SQL and data modeling
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing and ETL tools
  • Certification in HubSpot, Salesforce, or Google Analytics

Benefits and Perks

  • Opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Flexible remote work arrangements
  • Professional development and growth opportunities
  • Access to cutting-edge technology and tools
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment

How to Stand Out

  • Make sure you have a deep understanding of CRM data architecture and experience with behavioral segmentation and lifecycle-stage management before applying
  • Highlight your experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, and Google Analytics in your resume and cover letter
  • Be prepared to talk about your experience building complex automation workflows and drip campaigns in your interview
  • Show examples of your work, such as campaigns you've managed or data models you've developed
  • Research the company and the role to understand the team's goals and challenges, and be prepared to ask informed questions
  • Don't be afraid to ask about the company's approach to data hygiene and how they handle data integrity issues
