## About the Role Canonical is seeking an Embedded Linux Field Engineer for Devices/IoT to expand its reach in industries such as Automotive, Medical Devices, and Industrial Systems. The successful candidate will be an accomplished Linux expert with a deep understanding of the operating system. ## Responsibilities The role involves developing Linux solutions for IoT and devices, working with customers to bring their ideas to life, and contributing to the development of Ubuntu Core, Canonical's edition of Ubuntu tailored for IoT. ## Requirements - Proficiency in Linux, including low-level Linux boot, BIOS, EFI, Secure Boot, firmware, and OS Distribution packaging - Experience in embedded software development - Strong coding and scripting skills - Ability to work with global brands in consumer and industrial electronics, automotive, and robotics ## Benefits - Opportunity to work with a leading provider of open source software and operating systems - Collaborative global environment with 1000+ colleagues in 70+ countries - Flexible, home-based work arrangement
