About the Role

The Emerging Account Executive role at Olo is designed for a highly motivated and client-focused individual who can blend technical aptitude with project management skills and sales acumen. This position is integral to Olo's growth, focusing on developing relationships with existing customers and identifying opportunities for expansion. The role is part of Olo's Emerging Enterprise Sales team, which caters to restaurant brands with between 15 and 75 locations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or from Olo's headquarters in NYC.

The Emerging Account Executive will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand client needs, deliver tailored solutions, and drive business growth.

What You Will Do

  • Drive awareness, market presence, and adoption of new products and initiatives among existing clients in the Emerging Enterprise Segment.
  • Build and manage relationships with clients, focusing on contract renewals and identifying opportunities for upsell and cross-sell.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand each client's existing program and potential areas for improvement and expansion.
  • Own the upsell sales process, conducting product demonstrations and presenting Olo's products and services to clients.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships throughout organizations, conducting targeted outreach and building a strong network of contacts.
  • Draft benchmark analyses to highlight opportunities for brands to derive greater results from existing products or utilize new products.
  • Coordinate customer meetings and presentations, preparing and delivering follow-up materials and addressing client concerns or competitive threats.
  • Manage contractual processes and executive-level negotiations, ensuring successful program launches and delivering on client expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team post-sale to ensure seamless program implementation and to meet client expectations.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years in a sales role, preferably in the hospitality/restaurant industry, B2B SaaS/software, or payment solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple internal departments and work cross-functionally.
  • Organizational and process-oriented, with the ability to multitask, handle pressure, and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated and confident, with a competitive personality and a supportive team player mindset.
  • Comfortable with technology, including proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, CRM, and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to decipher legal contracts and navigate contract negotiations.
