About the Role
The Emerging Enterprise Account Executive role at Amplitude is a critical position that requires a unique blend of sales acumen, technical expertise, and strategic thinking. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as expanding existing relationships with emerging enterprise accounts. Your day-to-day activities will involve conducting discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospective customers, all with the goal of driving revenue growth and increasing Amplitude's market share.The role is centered around building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within the account, navigating complex sales cycles, and effectively communicating the value of Amplitude's digital analytics platform. You will be working closely with internal resources, including SDRs, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success teams, to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to customer engagement.

What You Will Do
- Create and close opportunities with emerging enterprise accounts, leveraging your expertise in sales and account management to drive revenue growth
- Expand relationships with current accounts, identifying new opportunities for upsell and cross-sell
- Conduct discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospective customers, showcasing Amplitude's platform and its value proposition
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, leveraging data and analytics to inform your approach
- Collaborate with internal resources, including SDRs, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success teams, to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, consistently demonstrating your ability to perform at a high level
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform your sales strategy and stay ahead of the curve
- Provide feedback and insights to internal stakeholders, helping to shape the development of Amplitude's platform and services
- Participate in sales forecasting and pipeline management, ensuring that the sales team is well-positioned to meet its targets
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in up-market SaaS sales, preferably in the tech industry
- A proven track record of success in sales, with a history of consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Experience working with emerging enterprise accounts, with a strong understanding of the sales cycle and the needs of key stakeholders
- Ability to tell a story using data, leveraging analytics and insights to inform your sales approach
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate the value of Amplitude's platform to prospective customers
- Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and a focus on results
- Experience with sales tools and technologies, including CRM systems and sales analytics platforms
