About the Role
The Emerging Enterprise Account Executive role at Amplitude is a critical position that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to drive growth and expansion with key accounts. As a key member of the sales team, this role entails managing a territory, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital analytics landscape and be able to effectively communicate the value of Amplitude's platform to key stakeholders.The role is remote, allowing candidates to work from anywhere in North America. What You Will Do
- Create and close opportunities with emerging enterprise accounts
- Expand relationships with current accounts
- Become an expert on Amplitude's product and conduct discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospective customers
- Effectively sell the value of Amplitude to key stakeholders within the account while navigating a complex sales cycle
- Collaborate well with internal resources including SDRs, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets
- Manage customers with 250k+ in spend
- Tell a story using data to drive business decisions
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of upmarket SaaS closing experience in tech (preferably Analytics, Mobile, or Business Applications)
- Proven track record of closing multiple six-figure transactions per year
- Experience building a vertical/new business
- Experience running POCs and mutual close plans
- Successful track record of being a top performer
- Ability to work and thrive in a team setting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of data-driven decision making
- Experience with Excel and other data analysis tools
