About the Role

The Employee Relations Specialist role is a critical component of Zoom's People Experience (PX) function, working closely with ER Business Partners, PX Business Partners, and Legal teams across EMEA. As Zoom undergoes significant cultural and operational transformation, this role requires dedicated expertise in managing high-risk employee relations casework, ensuring compliance, and supporting managers through performance management and organizational change.

Day-to-day, the successful candidate will be responsible for navigating the complexities of ER casework, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. This role demands a deep understanding of EMEA employment laws and regulations, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to conduct objective investigations with procedural rigor.

The ideal candidate will be part of a team that values operational rigor, empathy, and continuous improvement, and will be essential in embedding Zoom's performance culture, driving compliance excellence, and ensuring workforce changes are executed with sensitivity and precision.

What You Will Do

  • Manage high-risk employee relations casework, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across multiple EMEA countries
  • Partner with managers and PX Business Partners on performance management cases and underperformance issues
  • Conduct objective investigations and document findings with procedural rigor
  • Develop and roll out HR policies that support Zoom's performance-driven culture
  • Monitor ER metrics and provide risk-mitigation insights through data analysis and reporting
  • Coach leaders on constructive feedback and consistent application of performance standards
  • Support organizational change initiatives with sensitivity and compliance focus
  • Collaborate with Legal teams on high-risk employment matters
  • Build trust through empathetic and fair case resolution approaches

What We Are Looking For

  • In-depth knowledge of EMEA employment laws and regulations
