About the Role

The EMS Research Intern role at ImageTrend is a fantastic opportunity for graduate-level students to gain hands-on experience in research and data analysis. What You Will Do

  • Work closely with the research team to identify topics of interest and conduct literature reviews
  • Analyze data using STATA software to evaluate prehospital/EMS data
  • Develop scientific research abstracts for submission to nationally recognized Prehospital Conferences
  • Receive regular feedback on data analysis and scientific writing to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Engage with research topics related to public health, social determinants of health, and prehospital patient care
  • Perform additional duties or tasks assigned by the Research Manager
  • Assist in the preparation of research reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve research goals and objectives
  • Conduct thorough reviews of existing literature to inform research design and methodology

What We Are Looking For

  • Actively pursuing a graduate-level program in public health, epidemiology, or a similar field
  • Experience using STATA software
  • Basic knowledge of NEMSIS EMS data collection/elements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with research design and methodology

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data visualization tools and software
