What You Will Do

• Support system analysis of low carbon technologies integrated with data centers, including heat-to-power, heat storage, and CO2 capture & utilization
• Develop internal tools to help design sustainable data centers of the future
• Collaborate with the Impact team to model energy systems and develop system optimization tools
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for sustainability improvements
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in sustainable infrastructure and data center design
• Participate in meetings and workshops to discuss project progress and provide input on system design
• Contribute to the development of internal knowledge base and documentation
• Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes as needed

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical, aerospace, electrical, computation, or energy systems)
• Previous experience modeling energy systems, with a focus on sustainable infrastructure and data center design
• Familiarity with system optimization tools and cost-benefit analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with a willingness to learn and adapt
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, with experience in data analysis and visualization
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

• Previous experience modeling gas turbines, thermodynamic cycles, and fluid networks
• Familiarity with sustainable infrastructure and data center design principles
• Experience working with internal tools and systems, including data management and analysis software
• Certification in a relevant field, such as energy management or sustainability
