About the Role

The Engineering Manager, Convert ROI position at Webflow is a remote, full-time opportunity to lead the development of scalable features that deliver actionable insights and key metrics about Webflow site traffic and user behavior. As a member of the Webflow Analyze team, you will guide the development of analytics and conversion products, helping customers make smarter, faster decisions. You will spend roughly 20-30% of your time hands-on in the codebase alongside your team, and the rest growing engineers, shaping technical direction, and partnering across product, design, and data.

The Webflow Analyze team is focused on building and scaling Webflow's analytics product offerings, and as the Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving roadmap planning and execution. You will set technical direction and uphold high engineering standards, balancing hands-on work with team leadership. Your team will rely on you to provide clear feedback, identify development opportunities, and actively invest in their career progression.

What You Will Do

  • Lead a full-stack team focused on building and scaling Webflow's analytics product offerings
  • Drive roadmap planning and execution for the team, shaping key features and guiding technical investments
  • Set technical direction and uphold high engineering standards
  • Balance hands-on work with team leadership, contributing where it unblocks, clarifies, or sets a high standard
  • Partner closely with cross-functional peers across Engineering, Product, and Design to set goals and shape the engineering strategy
  • Support your team's growth by providing clear feedback, identifying development opportunities, and actively investing in their career progression
  • Foster accountability and help the team deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Contribute to broader organizational health by collaborating with other Engineering Managers to continuously refine processes and improve how we support our teams

What We Are Looking For

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience managing a team in a high growth environment
  • 5+ years as a technical individual contributor, including meaningful time as a senior or staff engineer before moving into management
  • Experience leading teams with modern tech stacks such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, Mongo, and AWS
  • Experience building or shipping AI-powered product features
  • Clear understanding of AI-native conversion platforms and their applications
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, remote work environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Webflow's analytics and conversion products
  • Knowledge of machine learning and data science principles
  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps practices
  • Certification in engineering management or a related field
