As a member of the Convert team, you will be responsible for driving growth and innovation, partnering with senior leaders across Engineering, Product, and Design to turn vision into reality. The role is based in Argentina and offers the opportunity to work remotely with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about building the world's leading Agentic Marketing Experience Platform.

The Convert suite of products is designed to give marketing and growth teams the tools they need to experiment, personalize, and drive real revenue from their web presence. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for setting the long-term technical vision and architecture for backend systems, architecting and evolving high-throughput distributed systems and APIs, and leading foundational platform investments.

You will be reporting to the Director of Engineering, Convert, and will be working closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and product engineers to productionize statistical and AI/ML capabilities into reliable, real-time backend infrastructure.

What You Will Do

  • Set the long-term technical vision and architecture for backend systems powering experimentation, personalization, analytics, and conversion optimization across Webflow
  • Architect and evolve high-throughput distributed systems and APIs that ingest, process, and serve large volumes of visitor and event data with low latency, high availability, and strong consistency guarantees
  • Lead foundational platform investments and the data infrastructure that supports them, unlocking new product capabilities for years to come

  • Lead complex, multi-team, multi-quarter technical initiatives end-to-end: from problem framing and technical strategy through implementation, launch, and long-term operational ownership
  • Influence the engineering roadmap and technical strategy across the Convert pillar and partner pillars, identifying the highest-leverage investments and aligning teams behind them
  • Raise the engineering bar across the org through architecture review, technical standards, observability and operational excellence practices, and the systems and tooling that support long-term quality
  • Mentor and grow staff and senior engineers, multiplying your impact through the people you develop and the technical culture you help shape
  • Stay current with industry trends in distributed systems, experimentation platforms, real-time data, and AI/ML infrastructure, proactively identifying opportunities to advance Webflow's backend platform and engineering practices
  • Translate product vision into concrete technical problems and execution plans

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and real-time data processing
  • Strong technical leadership and architecture skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a remote-first environment and partner with cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Experience with Excel and other data analysis tools

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Opportunity to work remotely with a talented team of professionals
  • Participation in Webflow's company-wide bonus program
  • Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools
  • Professional development and growth opportunities
  • Flexible working hours and remote work stipend
  • Comprehensive health insurance and retirement plan
