About the Role

The Guest Displays & Platforms team at Airbnb owns the main product details page and Pricing & Availability across the booking flow. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead the Pricing & Availability Platform team, focusing on low-latency, high-throughput systems that power Airbnb's highest-traffic surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to determine and document requirements
  • Plan, sequence, and deliver new features and capabilities with engineers
  • Understand system health to maintain product quality
  • Establish and communicate overarching vision for pricing architecture

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering management experience
  • 10+ years of relevant software development industry experience
  • Deep expertise with backend systems and complex data modeling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
