About the Role
The Engineering Tech II role at Woolpert is a dynamic position that plays a key role in supporting project delivery through documentation management, communication, scheduling, and coordination across technical teams. As part of the Aviation Team, this role requires a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing project files, coordinating meetings, and ensuring deadlines are met.The Engineering Tech II will work closely with the technical teams to review and proofread technical documents and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. This role will also support quality control efforts by tracking revisions, compiling redline comments, and ensuring all deliverables are properly reviewed before submittal.
What You Will Do
- Maintain organized project files and client documentation in accordance with company standards
- Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met
- Review and proofread technical documents and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Support quality control efforts by tracking revisions, compiling redline comments, and ensuring all deliverables are properly reviewed before submittal
- Manage data entry and project information in MS Word, MS Excel, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other systems as directed
- Prepare presentation materials, reports, and meeting summaries for internal and client use
- Assist with and maintain up-to-date documentation of workflows and procedures
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure project deliverables are met
- Develop and implement processes to improve project efficiency and quality
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of project support experience in an engineering, construction, or technical environment preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through on assigned tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a collaborative team environment
- Experience working with technical documentation, plans, or specifications is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of engineering or design processes a plus but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
