About the Role

The English Contract Attorney role at Contact Government Services is a unique opportunity for experienced legal professionals to work on a wide range of document review and eDiscovery projects. As a contract attorney, you will be responsible for managing complex document review workflows, including privilege review, redactions, and conceptual searching. You will be working remotely and will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, each with its own set of challenges and requirements.

In this role, you will be an integral part of a team of experienced legal professionals, working together to deliver high-quality results to clients. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small-scale document reviews to large-scale eDiscovery projects. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that all documents are reviewed and processed accurately and efficiently.

What You Will Do

  • Manage complex document review workflows, including privilege review, redactions, and conceptual searching
  • Review and analyze large volumes of documents, including electronic documents and physical documents
  • Conduct thorough and accurate reviews of documents to identify relevant information and privilege
  • Apply your knowledge of eDiscovery laws and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement effective document review strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide training and guidance to junior attorneys and legal professionals on document review best practices
  • Participate in quality control activities to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date on project progress
  • Utilize technology and software to streamline document review workflows and improve efficiency

What We Are Looking For

  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and status in good standing
  • Experience with electronic document review technology, including Relativity, Concordance, and ViewPoint
  • Familiarity with document review workflows, including privilege review, redactions, and conceptual searching
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and analyze large volumes of documents
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Experience working on large-scale document review projects, with a strong understanding of eDiscovery laws and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience as a member of a document review team, with a strong understanding of team dynamics and collaboration
  • Familiarity with Relativity 9.0 or higher version, with a strong understanding of its features and functionality
  • 2+ years of legal support experience, with a strong understanding of legal procedures and protocols
