About the Role

The Enterprise Account Executive role at Amplitude is a strategic and challenging position that requires a unique blend of sales, technical, and interpersonal skills. As a key member of the Enterprise team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth through the sale of Amplitude's products and services.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to develop and execute account plans that meet the needs of Amplitude's largest and most complex customers. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that customer needs are met and that Amplitude's products and services are positioned for long-term success.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans that identify key sales opportunities and strategies for pursuing them
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at Amplitude's largest and most complex customers
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute account plans
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic outreach and networking
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and pitches that effectively communicate the value of Amplitude's products and services
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements that meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Provide ongoing support and account management to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that customer needs are met and that Amplitude's products and services are positioned for long-term success
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities and stay ahead of the competition

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the software or technology industry
  • Proven track record of success in selling complex software solutions to large and complex customers
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and communicate the value of Amplitude's products and services
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive account plans
  • Experience with sales forecasting and pipeline management tools
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to meet or exceed revenue targets

  • Experience working with digital marketing or analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape and the challenges faced by Amplitude's customers
