About the Role
The Enterprise Account Executive role at Makersite is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry and the ability to drive sustainable product development. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for prospecting into large manufacturing enterprises in the DACH region, building and maintaining relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement.The role is part of a growing team that is passionate about creating a more sustainable future through digital collaboration and product lifecycle management. In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of the customer's business and identify robust business drivers behind all opportunities. You will need to negotiate favorable business terms with large enterprises by selling value and ROI, ensuring customer satisfaction to renew and upsell successfully.
What You Will Do
- Prospect into large manufacturing enterprises in the DACH region to identify new business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
- Develop a deep comprehension of customer's business and identify robust business drivers behind all opportunities
- Negotiate favorable business terms with large enterprises by selling value and ROI
- Ensure customer satisfaction to renew and upsell successfully
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement
- Demonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges and have an intuitive sense of necessary steps to close business and gain customer validation
- Ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and develop strategies to overcome objections
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and expand existing relationships
What We Are Looking For
- Deep knowledge and experience in closing multi-million-dollar ARR contracts
- Field sales experience selling software to large enterprises
- Well-versed in holding VP and C-level conversations
- High energy and well-developed business sense
- Exceptional ambition combined with great teaming skills
- Deep and creative sales hunter skills
- Residing in and legally permitted to work in the EU
- Written and Verbal fluency in German
- Experience working with Adjust and Excel
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and sustainable product development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Nice to Have
- Experience working with product lifecycle management software
- Knowledge of digital collaboration tools and platforms
- Familiarity with the DACH region and its business culture
- Certification in sales or a related field
