About the Role
The Enterprise Account Executive role at Datadog is a critical position that involves targeting and closing new business with large, strategic customers and prospects. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for uncovering the pain points organizations face in their cloud environments and delivering tailored Datadog solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, as well as the ability to navigate complex sales processes and build strong relationships with key decision-makers.Datadog's sales team is a dynamic and collaborative group that values innovation, creativity, and teamwork. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed sales targets, build strong customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
What You Will Do
- Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies in Thailand, running an efficient sales process to identify new business opportunities
- Maintain, build, and own specific relationship maps for your territory, including existing relationships and aspirational contacts
- Develop a deep comprehension of customer's business, including their pain points, goals, and challenges
- Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
- Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory
- Demonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges that defy easy solution
- Have an intuitive sense of necessary steps to close business and gain customer validation
- Identify robust set of business drivers behind all opportunities
- Ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of closing experience in mid-market or enterprise sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Driven and results-oriented, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to demonstrate methodology to prospect and build pipeline on your own
- Experience working for an innovative tech company (SaaS, IT infrastructure, or similar) is preferred
- Experience selling into large Fortune 1000 companies, with the ability to win new logos
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to travel regularly to client sites, within your area and other regions, as needed

- Experience with sales tools and technologies, such as CRM and sales automation platforms
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and digital transformation
- Familiarity with Datadog's products and solutions, or similar technologies
