About the Role
The Enterprise Account Executive, Healthcare position at DoorDash is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team that is revolutionizing the way healthcare partnerships are developed and managed. As a key member of the New Verticals Enterprise Team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the full sales cycle for healthcare deals, focusing on acquiring new enterprise accounts that will fuel the growth of DoorDash's Healthcare business. This role offers the chance to work at a 'start-up' pace with the backing of a well-established Fortune 500 company, providing the ideal environment for self-motivated individuals to thrive.As part of this team, you will be expected to understand the biggest challenges faced by prospects and work cross-functionally with various teams, including Strategy & Operations, Product, Engineering, and Legal, to design custom solutions that meet their needs. Your ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across different job functions will be essential in navigating complex conversations and building long-term, consultative relationships with healthcare executives.
Given the fast-paced nature of this role, comfort with multiple moving parts and a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally are crucial. You will be working closely with internal teams to build consensus and drive business forward, making informed decisions and determining appropriate courses of action within the scope of your responsibilities.
What You Will Do
- Lead the full sales cycle for healthcare deals, from initial outreach to contract close
- Identify and acquire new enterprise accounts to drive the growth of DoorDash's Healthcare business
- Go deep with prospects to understand their biggest challenges and partner cross-functionally to design custom solutions
- Work closely with the Strategy & Operations, Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to ensure alignment and effective solution implementation
- Build and maintain long-term, consultative relationships with healthcare executives
- Influence and motivate people at all levels across different job functions
- Navigate complex conversations and sales cycles with ease
- Make informed decisions and determine appropriate courses of action within the scope of your responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to build internal consensus and drive business forward
- Utilize Excel and other tools to analyze data, track progress, and inform sales strategies
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in the healthcare space, including roles in sales, commercial growth, business development, partnership management, or account management
- Proven track record of owning complex, multi-stakeholder deals from prospecting through close
- Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is a plus
- Ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a variety of job functions
- Experience navigating complex conversations and building long-term, consultative relationships with healthcare executives
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a track record of building internal consensus
- Comfort with a fast pace and several moving parts
- Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties
Nice to Have
- Experience with sales commission structures and performance metrics
- Knowledge of the current healthcare landscape and emerging trends
- Familiarity with DoorDash's services and how they can be integrated into healthcare solutions
- Certification in sales or a related field
