About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Amplitude, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the company's mission to power the AI-driven product era. Your primary focus will be on leading the full sales cycle for Japanese enterprises, demonstrating how Amplitude's AI-native platform automates discovery and predicts customer behavior to drive radical growth. You'll work closely with global product teams to feed Japan-specific market insights back into the AI roadmap, ensuring the platform remains the gold standard for local innovation.The role entails a deep understanding of Amplitude's machine learning capabilities and the ability to conduct deep-dive discovery and bespoke demos for C-suite stakeholders. You'll need to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, leveraging quantitative metrics and predictive ROI to make a strong business case for Amplitude's AI-powered insights.
As a key member of the team, you'll be expected to lead territory initiatives to educate the Japan market on the shift toward AI-driven product management. This will involve leveraging a network of technology partners and local influencers to drive Amplitude's mission forward.
What You Will Do
- Own the full sales cycle for Japan's largest enterprises, demonstrating Amplitude's AI-native platform capabilities
- Conduct deep-dive discovery and bespoke demos for C-suite stakeholders to showcase Amplitude's machine learning capabilities
- Lead territory initiatives to educate the Japan market on the shift toward AI-driven product management
- Partner with global product teams to feed Japan-specific market insights back into the AI roadmap
- Develop and execute a strategic account plan to achieve sales targets and expand Amplitude's presence in the Japanese market
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, leveraging quantitative metrics and predictive ROI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer success, to drive business growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, applying this knowledge to drive Amplitude's sales strategy forward
- Develop and maintain a strong network of relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and product leaders
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in quota-carrying roles, with at least 6+ years closing upper-Enterprise SaaS deals
- Proven track record of winning new logo business by challenging the status quo and selling a new way of working
- Native Japanese and business-level English fluency, with the ability to translate global AI trends into local business value
- Experience in detailed Account Planning and a history of being a top-performer
- Strong understanding of AI-powered insights and predictive analytics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and thrive in ambiguity
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer success

- Knowledge of the Japanese market and local business trends
