## About the Role The Enterprise Account Executive - Named Accounts is a pivotal role at Plaid, focused on generating new enterprise deals and nurturing long-lasting relationships with key clients in North America. This position requires a unique blend of sales acumen, technical knowledge, and strategic thinking to drive business growth and expansion. As a member of Plaid's sales team, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative environment that empowers the financial services industry to adopt cutting-edge technology.

The role entails managing a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients. Your day-to-day activities will involve prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating deals, as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with executive-level stakeholders.

## What You Will Do - Own and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts to drive expansion within existing customers and identify new revenue opportunities - Lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles by engaging technical, product, and executive stakeholders to position Plaid as a strategic partner - Craft and deliver compelling, business-centric value stories that connect Plaid's solutions to measurable customer outcomes - Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Account Management, Product, and other teams to drive new sales and expand existing use cases - Proactively identify and act on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to refine sales strategy - Contribute to building and scaling the enterprise sales motion by sharing insights, improving processes, and mentoring others - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Plaid's products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients - Work closely with the sales development team to identify and qualify new business opportunities - Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends in fintech to maintain a competitive edge

## What We Are Looking For - Ability to sell technical solutions to business buyers, with experience developing and delivering compelling value stories at the executive level - Significant experience (9+ years) in a new revenue role, with a strong track record of closing enterprise-level deals (including 4+ years focused on enterprise customers) - Strong prospecting, qualification, and negotiation skills, with a consultative and product-centric sales approach - Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and executing a territory- or vertical-focused revenue strategy - Strong command of executive-level conversations and confidence in facilitating technical discussions alongside Solutions Engineers and Technical Account Managers - Excitement to operate in a high-growth environment and contribute to building processes, tools, and playbooks - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively

## Nice to Have - Experience working in the fintech industry or a related field, with knowledge of financial institutions and regulatory requirements - Familiarity with Plaid's products and services, or similar technologies - Certification in sales or a related field, such as CSP or CPSA - Experience with sales analytics tools and CRM software
