About the Role

The Enterprise Account Executive, SLED role at Asana is a critical position that requires a driven, entrepreneurial, and customer-centric professional to drive revenue growth in the education and public sector verticals. As a key member of the Vertical Go to Market team, you will be responsible for navigating complex account landscapes, leveraging data to optimize existing solutions, and identifying new use cases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive long-term success.

What You Will Do

  • Masterfully navigate complex account landscapes and leverage data to optimize existing solutions and identify new use cases
  • Anticipate roadblocks and objections with foresight, crafting win-win solutions that ensure all stakeholders see the value of your vision and Asana
  • Drive revenue and grow businesses, leveraging negotiation skills and data-driven insights to secure win-win partnerships
  • Partner seamlessly with SDRs, Field Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive long-term success, and generate business value
  • Serve as a trusted advisor with excellent relationship-building skills from C-level to end-users
  • Identify and overcome technical, educational, and competitive challenges, driving successful, long-term growth and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales goals and expand Asana's presence in the education and public sector
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify new sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and events to drive sales and growth

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience selling directly into the Enterprise segment, with a focus on education and public sector sales
  • 8+ years of experience closing business, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience closing deals and building strategic relationships within the Education and Public Sector verticals
  • Proven ability to close deals with consistently high quota attainment, particularly within the Enterprise SaaS space
  • Strong understanding of the education and public sector markets, including trends, challenges, and key players
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive sales and growth

Nice to Have

  • Experience with sales automation tools and CRM systems
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and AI tools, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity and decision-making
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Certification in sales or a related field, such as a CRM or sales automation platform
