About the Role
The Enterprise Account Executive position at Twilio is a key role in driving the company's communications business forward across the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing high-value sales opportunities with enterprise customers. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand Twilio's customer base
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new high-value enterprise customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing and potential customer accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales engineering, marketing, and customer success, to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Negotiate and close complex sales deals, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct thorough needs analyses to understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge
- Provide feedback and insights to internal stakeholders to improve sales strategies and product offerings
- Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of selling complex solutions to large enterprise and software companies
- Strong background in identifying, mapping, and prospecting enterprise accounts
- Experience in selling communications solutions, such as cloud communications platforms, APIs, and Conversational AI
- Proven success in account management, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Background working with Fortune 500 companies or similar large enterprises
- Quota-driven sales environment experience, with a proven ability to close high-value deals
- Expertise in solution-based or consultative selling
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
