About the Role
The Enterprise Development Associate - Strategic Accounts role at abridge is a unique opportunity to drive business growth and make a meaningful impact in the healthcare technology sector. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and presenting the value of abridge's innovative solutions. You will be working closely with the marketing and sales teams to execute lead-generation campaigns and turn leads into qualified opportunities.
The role entails a deep understanding of the healthcare sector and the challenges it faces, as well as the ability to communicate the benefits of abridge's AI-powered solutions effectively. You will be the initial point of contact for potential clients, providing presentations and demonstrations of the company's products. You will also be responsible for maintaining detailed documentation and lead management activity using Salesforce and other tools.
As part of the abridge team, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including sales directors, marketing professionals, and healthcare experts. You will be expected to be a self-starter, motivated to reach and exceed your goals, and have a keen interest in technology, specifically healthcare technology and AI.
What You Will Do
- Follow up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities
- Conduct initial qualification calls and meetings with potential customers
- Develop email campaigns and use social mediums to educate the value of abridge's solutions
- Research target leads and personas, creating an analysis of the prospect before handing them off to Sales Directors
- Refine your sales skills and quickly learn about abridge's product offering
- Communicate the value proposition of abridge's solutions and overcome objections and competitive questions
- Maintain detailed and updated documentation and lead management activity using Salesforce and other tools
- Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas, lead conversion goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Partner with marketing and sales to execute lead-generation phone and email campaigns
- Provide presentations to relevant stakeholders within the account
- Develop relationships with prospects and act as the initial point of contact
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in communications, business, marketing, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience working in healthcare and/or health-tech
- 3-5 years of experience in business development or full-cycle sales in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Experience using Hubspot, Salesforce, Definitive Healthcare, and Google Workspace
- Polished and engaging communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome objections and think on your feet
- Strong planning and organizational skills, familiarity with data analysis
- Flexible and adaptable with an ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Keen interest in technology, specifically healthcare technology and AI
Nice to Have
- Experience working with AI-powered solutions
- Knowledge of the healthcare sector and its unique challenges
- Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation
