About the Role

The Enterprise Field Marketer plays a crucial role in OpenAI's mission to ensure responsible and widespread adoption of AI. This involves developing and executing marketing strategies that support the full enterprise buying journey, from awareness to adoption. The role requires a deep understanding of enterprise buyers' needs and challenges, as well as the ability to communicate the value of OpenAI's products effectively.

As part of the Marketing team, the Enterprise Field Marketer will partner closely with sales teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to create a cohesive customer experience. This includes organizing targeted events and meetings to shorten the sales cycle and increase the probability of closing deals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise marketing, particularly within technology-driven sectors, and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful B2B marketing strategies.

What You Will Do

  • Build and execute a marketing strategy that supports the full enterprise buying journey
  • Develop narratives that effectively communicate the value of OpenAI's products to enterprise buyers
  • Organize targeted events and meetings to shorten the sales cycle and increase the probability of closing deals
  • Establish core pursuit frameworks for prioritizing enterprises and verticals
  • Evolve OpenAI's corporate narrative on communicating value to enterprises
  • Conduct research on target personas to understand their challenges and inform marketing strategies
  • Partner with sales teams to help enterprise accounts expand AI programs
  • Work with enterprise PMs to translate complex AI technologies into clear, impactful benefits
  • Design and execute in-person meetings, such as EBCs and Roundtables, to accelerate deal cycles and receive product feedback
  • Utilize data to guide marketing decisions and optimize performance

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in enterprise marketing, PMM at B2B companies, or corporate marketing
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful B2B marketing strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to utilize data to guide marketing decisions
  • Understanding of the enterprise sales cycle and buyer behavior
  • Ability to tailor marketing strategies to meet the dynamics of enterprise sales
  • Experience in marketing complex technological products and buyer groups
