Job Description

About the Role

The Enterprise Implementation Consultant role is a critical part of Samsara's Customer Success team, responsible for ensuring the successful deployment of IoT solutions for enterprise customers. As a key member of the Implementation team, you will work closely with customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions to improve their operations. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing customer relationships, identifying and addressing technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer success.

The role is remote, offering flexibility and autonomy to work from anywhere in the US, except for certain locations. As a remote worker, you will be expected to be self-motivated, disciplined, and excellent at communication. You will be working with a fast-growing company that is shaping the future of physical operations, and your contributions will have a direct impact on the company's success.

What You Will Do

  • Own the customer relationship and ensure a successful deployment of Samsara's solution
  • Build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams, including Sales, Support, Sales Engineering, and Product
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Identify and address technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Manage and prioritize multiple customer implementations simultaneously
  • Develop and deliver training and support materials to customers
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify new sales opportunities and upsell/cross-sell existing customers
  • Provide feedback and insights to the Product team to drive product development and improvement
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest IoT trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to drive customer success
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Samsara's products and solutions
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for customer implementations
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing regular updates and progress reports

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the IoT or technology industry
  • Strong foundation in Excel, with experience in data analysis and visualization
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical issues
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Support, and Product
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer success
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decisions
  • Experience with IoT solutions and technologies, preferably in the fleet and industrial assets space

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or Java
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
  • Certification in a related field, such as ITIL or Six Sigma
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
