The Enterprise Sales Director position at Fivetran is a key role in driving sales growth and expanding the company's presence in Australia and the APAC region. As a seasoned sales leader, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships with key decision-makers, and leading complex sales cycles to closure. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth and expansion in the APAC region
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key decision-makers
- Lead complex sales cycles and negotiate contracts to closure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive business outcomes
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
- Provide feedback and insights to the revenue team to inform sales strategies and improve sales performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in data analytics and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Fivetran's solutions and the value they bring to customers
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and events
What We Are Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in the data analytics or technology industry
- Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and expansion in the APAC region
- Deep understanding of the data analytics landscape and the challenges and opportunities faced by companies in this space
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to lead complex sales cycles to closure
- Experience with sales forecasting and pipeline management, with the ability to provide accurate forecasts and manage a large sales pipeline
Nice to Have
- Experience working with data-driven technologies, such as data warehousing and business intelligence tools
- Knowledge of the Australian and APAC markets, including the key players, trends, and challenges
- Experience working with enterprise customers, including large corporations and government agencies
- Certification in sales or a related field, such as a CRM or sales methodology certification
