What You Will Do
- Partner with the sales team to develop and deliver sales presentations and product demos to potential clients
- Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team, helping to qualify and close deals with customers and partners
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Datadog's products and services, including their features, benefits, and technical requirements
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth
- Develop and deliver technical briefings and presentations to potential clients, showcasing Datadog's products and services
- Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input, including wins and losses
- Proactively engage and communicate with customers and Datadog business/technical teams regarding product feedback and competitive landscape
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering or related role, with a proven track record of success
- Strong technical skills, including programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, and .NET
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Experience working with cloud-based solutions, including Datadog's products and services
- Ability to travel up to 45% of the time, including international travel
- Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and articulate the business benefits of Datadog's products and services
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
Nice to Have
- Experience working with CRM systems, including Salesforce.com
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience working with data analytics and visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI
