## About the Role As an Enterprise Sales Executive at Datadog, you will be responsible for targeting and closing new business with the company's largest and most strategic customers and prospects. Your primary focus will be on understanding the pain points that organizations face when operating in or migrating to cloud environments at scale and delivering appropriate Datadog solutions. You will be working closely with a team of professionals who are passionate about cloud monitoring and security, and your contributions will directly impact the company's growth and success. Day-to-day, you will be prospecting into large Fortune 1000 companies, running an efficient sales process, and maintaining, building, and owning specific relationship maps for your territory. This includes existing relationships and aspirational contacts, requiring you to have a deep comprehension of your customers' businesses. Your ability to negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI will be crucial to your success.
