## About the Role The Enterprise Sales Executive at Datadog plays a critical role in driving the company's growth by targeting and closing new business with large, strategic customers and prospects. This role is pivotal in uncovering the pain points organizations face as they operate in or migrate to a cloud environment at scale and delivering tailored Datadog solutions to address these challenges. Day-to-day, the Enterprise Sales Executive will focus on prospecting into large Fortune 1000 companies, running an efficient sales process, and maintaining, building, and owning specific relationship maps for their territory. This includes existing relationships and aspirational contacts, with a deep comprehension of the customer's business needs and challenges. The role requires a strong ability to negotiate favorable pricing and business terms, selling value and ROI to large commercial enterprises.

## What You Will Do - Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process - Maintain, build, and own specific relationship maps for your territory, including existing relationships and aspirational contacts - Develop a deep comprehension of the customer's business to deliver tailored solutions - Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI - Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory - Demonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges that defy easy solutions - Have an intuitive sense of the necessary steps to close business and gain customer validation - Identify a robust set of business drivers behind all opportunities - Ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency - Continuously update knowledge of Datadog’s products and services to provide the best solutions for customers
