Job Description

About the Role

As the first NZ Enterprise Sales Executive at Partly, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's sales strategy and driving business growth in the region. This is a foundational enterprise sales role that requires a deep understanding of the B2B software landscape and the ability to navigate complex sales processes. You will be working closely with the product team to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue and expand Partly's customer base.

The role is based in Partly's Christchurch and Auckland offices, but you will be expected to travel occasionally to meet with clients and stakeholders. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving sales growth through strategic account planning and execution.

What You Will Do

  • Land foundational enterprise customers and develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and develop customized sales solutions that meet the needs of Partly's clients
  • Work closely with the product team to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue and expand Partly's customer base
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers and driving sales growth through strategic account planning and execution
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive awareness and generate leads
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the B2B software landscape and the competitive landscape
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Develop and implement sales plans that align with Partly's overall business strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive sales growth and innovation

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience selling complex enterprise B2B software or platform solutions
  • Background in high-growth technology companies, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth
  • Strong commercial judgment and comfort with ambiguity, with the ability to navigate complex sales processes and negotiate customized sales solutions
  • Ability to work closely with product and solutions teams to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue and expand Partly's customer base
  • Credibility with senior enterprise stakeholders, with the ability to build relationships and drive sales growth through strategic account planning and execution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends, and apply this knowledge to drive sales growth and optimization
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or computer science
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth and expanding customer relationships
