About the Role
The Entry Level UX Design Apprenticeship at name is a 7-month program designed to equip aspiring UX designers with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the industry. As a remote apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work on a startup idea of your choice, guided by experienced mentors who will provide feedback and support throughout the process. As a remote apprentice, you will be expected to commit 5-10 hours of work per week, attending 2-3 hour weekend lectures or completing online video course modules. What You Will Do
- Build digital products and services from scratch
- Lead end-to-end design process for a startup idea or topic of your choice
- Conduct discovery research, including user recruitment, research plans, and interview guides
- Develop a business model for your product or service, including market analysis and competitive research
- Design AI features and products, considering AI-specific design parameters and heuristics
- Create a design system, including components, style guide, and branding
- Lead user testing and feedback sessions to iterate and improve your design
- Analyze direct and indirect competitors to articulate your solution's differentiators
- Consult with startups to create a scope of work and fulfill UX research, design, and product design tasks
