About the Role
The EOR Business Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency and scalability of Remote's EOR (Employer of Record) operations. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires an individual with a strong background in business operations, program management, or operational excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive cross-functional clarity, operating mechanisms, and delivery support across multiple domains.As a key member of the EOR Operations team, the Business Operations Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional projects, identifying and addressing systemic operational gaps, and driving the adoption of AI-enabled improvements to operating mechanisms. This role demands a high degree of autonomy, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to self-direct with high ownership and follow-through.

What You Will Do
- Lead cross-functional projects from ideation to execution, including requirements gathering, scope definition, milestone planning, stakeholder updates, adoption, and impact measurement.
- Identify systemic operational gaps across EOR domains and coordinate remediation with accountable owners and partners.
- Drive cross-domain visibility and alignment across EOR Operations by maintaining clarity on initiatives, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
- Facilitate prioritization and sequencing for work that spans multiple EOR domains, regions, or creates cross-functional handoffs.
- Establish and continuously improve EOR-wide operating mechanisms to reduce manual work and enhance efficiency.
- Own recurring reporting inputs and convert insights into clear recommendations and follow-through with accountable owners.
- Identify and implement AI-enabled improvements to EOR operating mechanisms.
- Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to enable scalable execution and strong adoption of changes.
- Facilitate alignment across teams with differing priorities and influence outcomes without direct authority.
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in business operations, program/project management, operational excellence, or a similar cross-functional role.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to take ambiguous, multi-stakeholder work from problem definition through delivery, adoption, and measurement.
- Experience working with operational metrics and reporting tools such as Sigma, Zendesk, and Google Sheets.
- Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to write clearly and default to transparent, effective async communication.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience in incorporating AI thoughtfully into workflows and solution design.
- Ability to self-direct with high ownership and follow-through.
- Experience in improving systems and ways of working, with a focus on making processes faster, clearer, and more scalable.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in EOR Operations or an adjacent operating environment.
- Knowledge of automation and AI capabilities.
- Experience with lightweight governance and escalation paths for prioritization conflicts.
- Familiarity with establishing and maintaining reusable SOP patterns.
