The Epic Application Analyst role at McLeod Software is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of Epic systems and the ability to provide technical support to various stakeholders. The Epic Application Analyst will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for supporting the implementation of Epic systems across the organization. What You Will Do
- Analyze, design, and modify software applications to support the implementation of Epic modules
- Provide advanced technical expertise and serve as a liaison between the IT department and other stakeholders
- Maintain a professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations skills
- Collaborate with the IT department, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of Epic systems
- Gather and work with departments to prioritize development initiatives and activities
- Provide analysis of workflow and implement solutions to meet department needs
- Provide technical and application assistance to clients and IT staff as needed
- Assist with coordination of system upgrades and large projects and provide support as required
- Complete tasks on time and meet assignment dates
- Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols
- Create and maintain all documentation for assigned applications and develop, plan, and execute testing for supported applications
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of two years of Epic build experience
- Minimum of three years of computer system application modifications and support experience
- Minimum of three years of PC-oriented experience to include basic word processing and spreadsheets
- Epic certification or accreditation
- Associate degree in Healthcare, Computer Science, or Business from an accredited school or equivalent work experience
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Nice to Have
- Experience with other healthcare software systems
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
