About the Role

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve working closely with the IT department, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of Epic systems. The successful candidate will be expected to provide advanced technical expertise and serve as a liaison between the IT department and other stakeholders. With a strong focus on customer service, the Epic Application Analyst will be responsible for maintaining a professional image and exhibiting excellent customer relations skills.

The Epic Application Analyst will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for supporting the implementation of Epic systems across the organization. The team is led by an experienced manager who is committed to fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the team to identify and prioritize development initiatives and activities.

What You Will Do

• Analyze, design, and modify software applications to support the implementation of Epic modules
• Provide advanced technical expertise and serve as a liaison between the IT department and other stakeholders
• Maintain a professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations skills
• Collaborate with the IT department, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of Epic systems
• Gather and work with departments to prioritize development initiatives and activities
• Provide analysis of workflow and implement solutions to meet department needs
• Provide technical and application assistance to clients and IT staff as needed
• Assist with coordination of system upgrades and large projects and provide support as required
• Complete tasks on time and meet assignment dates
• Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols
• Create and maintain all documentation for assigned applications and develop, plan, and execute testing for supported applications

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum of two years of Epic build experience
• Minimum of three years of computer system application modifications and support experience
• Minimum of three years of PC-oriented experience to include basic word processing and spreadsheets
• Epic certification or accreditation
• Associate degree in Healthcare, Computer Science, or Business from an accredited school or equivalent work experience
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Nice to Have

• Experience with other healthcare software systems
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies
