About the Role
The EPIC Patient Scheduling Representative role is a critical part of T2 Group's mission to improve patient access and satisfaction in healthcare organizations. As a representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient scheduling, registration, and access services to hospitals, healthcare networks, and physician practice groups. You will be working in a dynamic call center environment, where no two days are the same. Your team will be dedicated to increasing patient access and revenue, decreasing abandonment rates, and improving patient and customer satisfaction.The role entails managing a high volume of calls, often with multiple interruptions, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. You will be working closely with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving. Your goal will be to provide professional, compassionate, and concierge-like service to patients, while upholding the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.

What You Will Do
- Collect all required patient information, including scheduling, pre-registration, and insurance verification
- Answer, screen, and process requests and telephone inquiries with adherence to HIPAA and HITECH confidentiality policies and procedures
- Obtain and accurately enter necessary demographic, clinical, and billing information
- Explain processes, forms, and procedures to callers, ensuring that patients understand required documentation requirements and subsequent measures
- Collect copays and payment information when necessary
- Process required information according to client policies and procedures
- Provide professional, compassionate, and concierge-like service to patients
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve patient concerns and issues
- Utilize Excel to manage and track patient data and scheduling information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and scheduling activities
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and best practices
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Strong computing and software skills (PC, MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability
- Team player, self-motivated, compassionate, and patient care-centered
- Ability to work in a fast-paced call center environment with multiple interruptions
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

- Experience with patient scheduling software and systems
- Certification in medical billing or coding
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
