About the Role

The Equipment Account Manager, Dental role at Henry Schein is a remote opportunity that requires a unique blend of sales, customer service, and technical skills. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of non-traditional customers, including DSOs, community health centers, and government institutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying growth opportunities, and developing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.

The role is part of a larger team that focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business results. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of plans. With a focus on customer satisfaction and revenue growth, you will be expected to analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management.

What You Will Do

  • Manage a portfolio of non-traditional customers, including DSOs, community health centers, and government institutions
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and identify growth opportunities
  • Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations
  • Create educational materials and programs to enhance product understanding and sales techniques
  • Provide training and support to field teams to ensure they are equipped to effectively sell and service non-traditional customers
  • Work closely with field teams to provide ongoing direction, support, and guidance
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan that aligns with organizational goals

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of dental equipment and digital technology
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Experience working with non-traditional customers, including DSOs and community health centers

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM software and sales automation tools
  • Knowledge of dental imaging, practice management, and software
  • Field experience on construction sites and working with third-party contractors
  • Dental plumbing/electrical knowledge for quoting/design
