About the Role

The ESS remote leadership role is a strategic position that requires experienced site managers and assistant site managers to join the FIFO leadership teams across multiple remote operations in Western Australia. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving site performance, leading diverse teams, and delivering exceptional client outcomes. As a key member of the leadership team, the site manager will provide overall leadership and direction across all site operations, including catering, accommodation, cleaning, and facilities.

The role is suited to commercially minded operational leaders with strong experience in managing complex, multi-service environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering commercial outcomes, building and maintaining strong client partnerships, and leading high-performing teams.

What You Will Do

  • Provide overall leadership and direction across all site operations, including catering, accommodation, cleaning, and facilities
  • Deliver commercial outcomes, including budget management, cost control, and financial reporting
  • Build and maintain strong client partnerships and act as the key point of contact on site
  • Lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams, driving engagement, capability, and retention
  • Ensure full compliance with contractual, safety (HSEQ), and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee workforce planning, rostering, and operational efficiencies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with service excellence
  • Support the development and implementation of operational plans and strategies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent service delivery standards
