About the Role
The Social Media and Employee Advocacy Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the EverCommerce Communications & Brand Team. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, particularly in social media and brand storytelling. As part of the team, you will contribute to bringing the employer brand, leadership storytelling, and employee advocacy efforts to life across social platforms.The successful candidate will work closely with the Brand Team to support day-to-day social media operations, campaign execution, and the ongoing management of the employee advocacy program. What You Will Do
- Support the planning and execution of EverCommerce's social media content across LinkedIn and internal amplification channels.
- Assist with content scheduling, publishing, and calendar management across brand and leadership social accounts.
- Help curate, organize, and prepare content for the Employee Advocacy program, ensuring alignment with brand and messaging priorities.
- Support the onboarding and coordination of employee advocates, including content tagging, basic guidance, and platform readiness.
- Assist with repurposing content for social distribution, such as resizing assets, drafting captions, organizing clips or quotes.
- Help track and document content performance, engagement trends, and participation metrics to support reporting and optimization.
- Maintain organized content libraries and documentation to support repeatable workflows and scalability.
- Collaborate with Brand, Communications, and People Team partners to support campaigns, leadership content, and culture initiatives.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and content planning discussions to learn how strategy translates into execution.
What We Are Looking For
- Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- Strong interest in social media, brand storytelling, employer branding, or digital communications.
- Familiarity with major social platforms, especially LinkedIn, and how content performs across them.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exercise discretion and good judgment, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Positive attitude approaching any task, no matter how big or small.
- Approaches projects with creativity and is willing to think outside of the box.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to travel for Denver, Colorado for the intern kickoff week and possibly the Intern executive presentations.
